The only thing that is certain is death. There's so much in this world that we are cannot be certain of, this includes our faith. This is why it is so important for us to contstantly beseech and BEG Allah SWT to keep us on the straight path until our last breath because indeed the last breath is the true trial...is it that we worshiped Allah SWT for so long in this world, but when our time to leave came near we turned our backs on the deen. This thought should scare us...it should make us cry...
In a hadeeth we learn that a man will be doing the actions of the people of jannah and between him and death is a handspan, meaning death is close, and then he will do actions of the people of hellfire...and the same is true reversed...
